Find the perfect dress in the largest marketplace for formal dresses.

Shopping for a dress to wear to an important event can be quite a daunting task for anyone looking for the perfect dress. It involves poring over numerous websites and trying on lots of dresses. Queenly offers an online platform where anyone can buy and sell prom dresses, pageant dresses, wedding dresses, and other dresses made for special occasions.

Queenly is a marketplace and ML-driven search engine dedicated towards formal wear fashion and the pageant industry. They aim to remind girls everywhere that they don’t need to spend a lot of money to be confidently beautiful. For a fraction of the price, anyone can attain the dress that they want for a special event.

Queenly emphasizes that they are not a traditional retail store. They are a revolutionary fashion-focused platform that fosters a community, which strives to help one another feel like a queen on their special night.

The platform is founded by pageant queens Trisha Bantigue (CEO) and Kathy Zhou (CTO). These women have redefined what it means to be a female founder in tech. Despite facing a lot of negative bias during fundraising, Bantigue and Zhou were able to successfully close their first round of fundraising from The House Fund, former CTO of Uber, and more A-list investors in order to build Queenly up, to now be the largest marketplace for formal dresses with over 30,000 dresses and counting.

Queenly has exceeded the formal dress inventory of Rent the Runway, Macy’s, Nordstrom and PromGirl. They aim to be radically inclusive, and so they have a wide range of dress sizes from 00 to 32.

Queenly is the first tech startup company to tackle the multi-billion dollar pageant and prom industry. They integrate machine-learning technology into their search engine and recommendations system in order to help shoppers find the specific look they want according to silhouettes, colors, hemlines, styles, designers, necklines, etc.

Queenly is also planning to launch visual search and incorporate AR technology to do at-home virtual try-ons for dresses. Virtual try-ons are ideal for many people especially today, as it eliminates the need to go to shops.

Dedicated to helping the community, Queenly also helped many boutique stores, who are predominantly in the South and Midwest and who are existing merely through a brick-and-mortar storefront, by helping them expand their reach and sell their inventory online at no cost through Queenly Partners. These small businesses suffered this year due to effects of COVID-19, and had trouble generating revenue until Queenly helped them go online.

To support sustainability in fashion, Queenly offers a way for pageant and prom dresses to be used again. They have pageant titleholders selling their thousand-dollar dresses on Queenly. The platform is used by Miss USA titleholders like Miss USA 2020 Asya Branch, Miss USA 2018 Sarah Rose Summers, and Miss USA 2016 Deshauna Barber.

Queenly can be accessed online at https://queenly.com/, as well as in the App Store and Google Play Store.
